The 54mm bottomless portafilter will help you really see what’s happening under the hood. You will be able to identify and correct extraction problems such as whether your grind is incorrect or if you are tamping incorrectly, the bottomless portafilter will let you know. A great tool for beginners and experts.

Our portafilter is removable & Easy to Clean. The detachable design is convenient and quick to disassemble, easy to use, and easy to clean without dead corners.
This Portafilter has 3 lock-in lugs. Please take note that the handle may vary in colour from light to dark depending on availability.
Pretty good quality but expected the filter to be heftier with some more weight to it. The wooden handle feels quite light in my hand in comparison to the standard portafilter. Not a bad thing but would have preferred a heavier handle.
There is also a slight gap between my tamp and the edge of the basket so not all of the coffee gets tamped.
Overall, happy to be able to see how my coffee is extracted (channelling) and where I can make improvements.
